The resort offers a creche suitable for children aged between 3 months and 5 years, and the ESF French Ski School offers ski tuition and a snow kindergarten for children aged 4 years and over.

The Gerardmer ski area offers 40km of slopes served by 20 lifts. 6 day ski passes can be bought in advance via the local tourist office or in-resort, and children under 5 years ski free of charge.
Cross country skiing : length of cross country track 30 Km
The resort offer 30km of cross-country trails starting from Gerardmer and a further 30km of trails can be accessed from Xonrupt-Longemer (4km away). Access to the cross-country slopes is payable.
