Located 60km from Tarbes and close to the Spanish border, Val Louron is a pedestrianized ski-in/ski-out resort located in the heart of the Pyrenees and nestled in a picturesque valley dotted with several small villages which have been built around well-preserved romanesque churches and watchtowers.
CHILDREN A creche/nursery in the resort offers childcare to children aged from 18 months to 5 years, and the ESF French Ski School offers a snow kindergarten for children aged 4 to 6 years.
OTHER ACTIVITIES The Val Louron ski area offers 19km of slopes, access to which is free of charge for children under 6 years.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION Val Louron is a well-equipped resort and offers all necessary amenities, including a mini-market/bakery, sports shop, a range of bars and restaurants, and a health centre. The nearby town of Loudenvielle (7km) also offers cashpoints, a pharmacy and service station, a launderette and a doctors.
