CHILDREN Font-Romeu offers a nursery, which welcomes children aged between 3 months and 3 years. The "Clube Piou-Piou", run by the ESF French Ski School, is a snow nursery and kindergarten and offers childcare and ski tuition to children aged between 3 to 12 years. For children aged between 3 and 6 years, the ESI "Les Petits Indiens" offers childcare and basic ski lessons.
OTHER ACTIVITIES As part of the Font-Romeu/Pyrenees 2000 ski area, Font-Romeu offers skiers access to 58km of downhill ski slopes, served by 28 ski lifts, 460 snow canons and a snowpark for any snowboarders hoping to perfect their tricks and technique.
Cross country skiing : length of cross country track 111 Km Font-Romeu offers cross-country skiers access to 100km of trails spread over 3 areas either in the heart of the forest or on an altitude plateau. A weekly lift pass is required to access these cross-country trails (payable locally).
