Located in the heart of the Giffre valley, Morrillon is a traditional ski resort and well-preserved Alpine village, ideal for families. The resort is divided into two centres, Morillon Village which is nestled in the valley at 700m, and the pedestrianised ski resort of Morillon Station at a slightly higher 1100m.
CHILDREN The "Village des Enfants" is suitable for children aged between 6 months to 10 years inclusiv, and also offers ski lessons suitable for children aged between 3 and 8 years. The ESF French Ski School offers snow kindergarten for children aged between 4 and 6 years.
OTHER ACTIVITIES As part of the Grand Massif ski domain, Morillon offers 265km of alpine ski slopes, and a further 145km as part of the Massif Partiel.
Cross country skiing : length of cross country track 3 Km Off-piste adventurers can explore 3.5km of cross country ski slopes in Morillon, all of which are free of charge to access. It is also possible to access other cross-country trails close to the resort, which are payable.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION Morillon is easily accessible from Cluses train station (15km), and Lagrange can arrange rail travel and accommodation packages for skiers hoping to let train take the strain this winter.
