This genuine mountain village has kept its traditional architectural features while adopting new modern technologies and facilities to stay at the top of the market.
Come to ZERMATT and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding Alpine landscape, the superb ski domain on offer and the warm welcome of its inhabitants. The resort is mainly pedestrianized and the only means of transportation allowed are horse-drawn sleighs and carts as well as electric shuttle buses and small taxi cars. You must park your vehicle at nearby Täsch then use a taxi or a train to reach the town.
