The bringing together of the three authentic villages, Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard (which are linked by shuttles) and Termignon, has led to the creation of the VAL CENIS VANOISE ski resort.
Located between the picturesque Vanoise National Park and Mount Cenis along the Italian border, VAL CENIS VANOISE has developped to become the ski capital of the Haute-Maurienne area.
CHILDREN The villages that make up Valcenis offer a wide range of childcare and childrens facilities for a wide range of ages: In Lanslebourg, the "Les P'tits Marrons" nursery offers outdoor activities as well as arts and crafts to children aged between 3 months and 6years and the nursery also offers ski tuition to children aged 3 years and over. The "Les Petits Loups" nursery in Lanslevillard offers childcare for children aged between 6 months and 6 years, as well as ski lessons to children over 3 years. Also located in Lanslevillard, the "Les P'tits Durs" welcomes children between 6 and 11 years during scholl holiday periods only. For first-time skiers or any small children who just need to brush up their skills from previous holidays, the ESF French Ski School offers snow kindergartens for children aged 3 to 5 years, located throughout the resort.
OTHER ACTIVITIES Thanks to the resort's links with Termignon, Val Cenis offers 125km of ski slopes, as well as a snowpark. 6 day ski pass: Adult: 151 euros, Senior (65 to 74 years): 128.50 euros, Child (5 to 11 years): 114 euros. Children under 5 years and seniors over 74 years ski free of charge.
Cross country skiing : length of cross country track 27 Km Val Cenis offers cross-country skiers 27km of trails to exlpore, access to which is free of charge.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION Val Cenis is accessible by car from Modane train station (24 km).
Val Cenis is a well-equipped resort, and has a widerange of services and amenities available locally, including a medical clinic, and post office, as well as a range of bars and restaurants and local shops.
