The nursery, located in the centre of the village, welcomes younger children aged between 3 months and 3 years, and the "Chevants" kindergarten is perfect for older children aged between 3 and 10 years (inclusive).
For children ready to start tearing up the slopes, the ESF French Ski School offers lessons and a snow kindergarten for children between3 and 5 years.

Local Ski Area: As part of the "Skipass Mont Blanc" domain, Les Houches offers access to 700km of ski slopes served by 190 lifts.
Les Houches itself offers 55km of ski runs, served by 16 ski lifts, and suitable for a range of abilities.
6-day lift pass prices (based on 2010/2011 rates as a guide): 166 euros/adult, 149.90 euros/youth (12 to 20 years), 116.20 euros/child (5 to 11 yeras), under 5s ski free of charge.
Cross country skiing : length of cross country track 12 Km
Cross-country Skiing: Les Houches offers 12km of cross-country skiing opportunities at an altitude of 1800m . Use of these ski slopes is free of charge, although skiers will need to pay for a return cable car journey in order to access them.

Useful Information: Les Houches can be easily reached by coach transfer from Geneva airport (70km).
